Fuuko Izumo is a girl who tries to take her own life by killing people. She has the unfortunate Unluck ability. She finds a reason to live when she meets Andy, an immortal man who desires to die but is unable to. Fuuko touches Andy by accident, causing his corpse to regenerate and revive. Fuuko and Andy work together to ensure that Andy has the best possible death, but an unknown group wants to take advantage of their unusual skills. The narrative goes into themes of destiny, unity, and achieving one’s own happiness.

The first season of the anime series Unlucky the Dead is expected to consist of 12 episodes. And each lasting roughly 23 minutes.
